PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of cutting, to lessen the cutting resistance, and to save energy, by providing shoes for pinching each of two thin blades for cutting a rod material or pipe material such that shoes are positioned on opposite sides of and adjacent to the cutting section of each blade thereby providing the blades with suitable strain. CONSTITUTION:The two cutter blade 1 of a straining apparatus are used to cut off two members 21, 22, and pivot pins 4, 4' are secured to the tips of arms of a frame body 3 of the straining apparatus. The rocking shoes 5, 5' are attached through coil springs 7 to the right and left pivot pins 4, 4', and are pressed to the cutter blades 1 by the coil springs 7. Fixed shoes 6 are mounted to the frame body 3 in parallel to the arms 31 such that the fixed shoes 6 are fitted between the cutter blades 1. In a static pressure pocket 51 of the rocking shoes 5, 5' of the fixed shoes 6, the opposite sliding surface with the cutter blade therebetween is similarly provided with a static pressure pocket 61 to lead a pressure oil. |
