Connecting joint for pipes (1, 2) used for drilling purposes, comprising at each end portion of each pipe (1, 2) and attachment member (3, 4), joined by means of a weld joint (A, B). The internal and external diameter of each pipe (1, 2) are maintained unchanged to the end surfaces of the pipe (1, 2), and that the adjacent end surfaces of the attachment members (3, 4) are arranged with an end surface area substantially corresponding to the end surface area of the pipe (1, 2).
