The clothes-hanger comprises a bar (1) formed of two arms (4) and has a hook (3) for hanging it up by. The arms have notches on into which fits a grip (6) which can be moved along the arm. The grip (6) has a rigid part (12) pointing downwards, which is moved apart from the grip to hold the article of clothing. - Each of the grips has a curved flap (14) attached flexibly to the outer edges of the grip. The outer edge of the rigid part (12) of each grip is notched and/or wavy and/or comprises protuberances. A flexible appendage on the inner arm of the grip has a protuberance.(1/5)
