Welding device for joining positioned parts

A welding device for the dimensionally accurate joining of positioned parts, in particular dental parts, is described, with a base plate for positioning the parts, a movable welding electrode, and an electronic control and regulating unit which produces a square-wave welding current path. The control and regulating unit is composed of a bank of capacitors and a pulsed-current control system, consisting of a series transistor with measuring rheostat and regulating element and a known timing element for the welding time. In addition, the welding electrode is surrounded by a magnet coil which lies in the electric welding circuit.
