For the production of cermet-metal composites for corrosion-stable, flexible diaphragms, filters or electrode diaphragm configurations, green cermet blanks are prepared from a mixture of oxides of the alkaline earth metals, alkali metals or earth metals and amphoteric oxides of metals of subgroups four, five or six of the periodic table and, if appropriate, from metals of subgroups four or six of the periodic table. A layer of metal powder of metals of subgroups four, five or six of the periodic table or a presintered, porous metal plate of a thickness from 0.2 to 2 mm is applied to one or both sides of these blanks. The composite blanks thus obtained are sintered at temperatures in the vicinity of, but below the melting temperature of the metals. |
