PURPOSE:To improve the life of a propeller shaft, by making a displacement position of a universal joint part coincide with a center of a pin of a bracket for installation of an axle. CONSTITUTION:A locus to be drawn by an axle 5 centering around a center of a pin 18 during running of a vehicle is made to coincide with that to be drawn by the axle 5 centering around a universal joint part 10 approximately and a variation of a length of a propeller shaft 2 resulting from a swing of the axle 5 during running of a vehicle is reduced to the minimum, by providing a universal joint part 10 in the vicinity of the pin 18 of a spring bracket for installation of the axle. With this construction, a reduction of a weight of the propeller shaft 2 resulting from shortening of a spline part and an improvement of the life of the propeller shaft 2 resulting from a decrease of external force are realized. |
