PURPOSE:To assemble and weld a cord that forms the frame of a leg structure of high dimensional accuracy, by giving proper reverse strain to the member, machining the end faces of required combining members, assembling them temporarily adding reinforcing members and uniforming the strain and correcting. CONSTITUTION:Slight preliminary strain (a) is given to the center in the direction of width of a guide plate 4, and the contact face of a rack 1 and a center rib 2 and the contact face of the center rib 2 and guide plate 4 are machined. Then, the rack 1, center rib 2 and guide plate 4 are assembled temporarily using exclusive jigs. Diaphragms 3 are attached at specified intervals. Regular welding is performed with the members attached to exclusive jigs. Preliminary strain (a) of the guide plate 4 recovers to true one. Side plates 5 are fixed to specified positions with pressure fitting. Upper and lower ends of left and right side plates 5 are MIG welded simultaneously to minimize welding strain. Exclusive jigs are then removed, and deformation is minimized by submerged arc welding the upper and lower ends of one side of the side plates 5. |
