The invention proposes a device which serves to measure and display the fuel consumption of vehicles driven by internal combustion engines. The device comprises a metering and fuel distributor valve (10), at which a fuel quantity assigned to each cylinder (8) is metered in individually at metering ports (29) as a function of operating parameters of the internal combustion engine. Provided on the metering and fuel distributor valve (10) is an additional metering port (29), downstream of which is arranged a flow sensor (73), the measured value of which is input, together with the measured value for the vehicle speed determined by a vehicle-speed measuring device (75), into a display instrument (74) in which the quotient of the measured values is formed as a measure of the fuel consumption per unit time. <IMAGE>
