<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liq. which does not form nor deposit insolubles on the surface of a thermal head, nor causes prevention of ejection from a recording head even after the long-term service, and which is capable of markedly increasing the working life without failure, by incorporating a dye with a particular structure. CONSTITUTION:A recording liq. contg. as a component forming a recorded image a compd. of formula I (wherein Q<1>, Q<2> are naphthalene, quinoline, or indole rings having one or more substituents selected from OH, NH2, NO2, CH3, OCH3, C2H5, OC2H5, SO3M, CO2M, Cl, and Br, wherein M is a base selected from Na, K, Li, ammoniums, and amines). Said recording liq. does not form nor deposit insolubles on the surface of a thermal head, nor causes prevention of ejection from a recording head in repeated appearance and disappearance of air bubbles for over a long term, and it is possible to greatly reduce the failure rate of a recording head and markedly increase the working life.</p> |
