MAGNETIC SIGNAL DETECTING METHOD USING MAGNETO- RESISTANCE ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To ensure the accurate detection of speed even with a faint magnetic field, by setting two detecting elements made of a magneto-resistance element respectively so that the magnetic field phases which these detecting elements receive are different from each other by 180 deg. or 360 deg. and obtaining the difference of outputs between both detecting elements. CONSTITUTION:A magneto-electric transducer 16 contains ferromagnetic materials B and B' set with a space of 1/4lambda. The direction of a signal magnetic field H is set at 0 deg. to the material B'. This is equivalent to the fact a ferromagnetic material A is in the field H of 90 deg.. Thus the material B' has the same function as the material A. The direction of the field H is also set at 90 deg. to the material B, and therefore the output voltage of the transducer 16 is set at the maximum value.
