PURPOSE:To crush an empty can easily with weak force by a simple device, by relieving the structural stress in the end plate parts of the metallic empty can then crushing the cylindrical part. CONSTITUTION:End plate parts 1 of an empty can made of metal are first blanked round by cutting or pressing to relieve the structural stress that the parts 1 exert on a cylindrical part 2 in the stage of crushing said empty can. The cylindrical part is then crushed, whereby the empty can is crushed easily with extremely weak force such as the force of the hand. |
