PURPOSE:To correct quantity of light which reaches a photoreceptor and to control the tone reproducibility of a copied image, by providing a photochromic layer whose color density is varied in accordance with quantity of exposure light, on the exposure optical path between an original face and the surface of the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A contact glass 1 is constituted by tightly laminating a photochromic layer 2 on the upper face of glass 3, and a transmission original 4 is placed on said contact glass. As for an exposure optical system, a converging light transmitting body array 5 is used, is placed under the contact glass 1 so as to fall at a right angle with it, and a photoreceptor 6 formed by laminating a photosensitive layer 7 and a photoelectric layer 8 is provided in parallel to the contact glass 1, under said array. In the upper part of the contact glass 1, an exposure light source 9 is provided on a production of the converging light transmitting body 5. The contact glass moves to the right from the left as indicated with an arrow, the photoreceptor 6 moves to the left from the right, scanning exposure is executed by the exposure light source 9 and the converging light transmitting body 5, and since the photochromic layer 2 is made to closely adhere to the picture face of an original, a color variation is offered faithfully to the picture of the original and without a blur. |
