PURPOSE:To enable the titled method to apply clear uneven pattern to a material even if the same is a thin polyester film, by a method wherein embossing is applied to the undersurface of a polyester film by an embossing roll while the undersurface of the polyester film and a coating layer of underpaper are being stuck to each other so that they are brought into contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A film 1 which is to be processed is drawn out so that the same is wound round and the same comes into contact with an embossing roll 2 and on the one hand underpaper 3 kept wound round is drawn out so that a coating layer 4 of the same comes into contact with the undersurface of the film 1. In other words, a paper roll 5 and the underpaper 3 are introduced into an embossing machine so that paper material surfaces of them come into contact with each other. Then after embossing has been applied to the same by the embossing roll 2, the underpaper 3 is peeled off from the film 1 along with the coating layer 4 and the film 1 and underpaper 3 are wound round separately. |
