PURPOSE:To improve the handling capability of a card greatly, by incorporating a magnetic-head driving motor conveyor belt, etc., in a rotary frame, attaching this freely rotatably to a fixed frame, and opening and closing a card conveyance path freely. CONSTITUTION:The card conveyance path 22 consists of a card takinging passage 22A for taking in a magnetic card 19 inserted into a card insertion opening, a curved passage 22B, and a card reciprocating passage 22C. The card 19 is reciprocated vertically in the passage 22C to handle data on the card 19 by reading, erasing, updating and recording, confirming, perforating, etc. For this purpose, a conveyor belt 81 rotated forward and backward, driven belt 82 which contacts the belt partially to hold the card by friction, magnetic head 83, punch mechanism 84, etc., are arranged in the passage 22C. A return lever is arranged under a return passage 40 to control the selective opening and closing of the return passage 40 and a card storage passage 42. |
