The manually driven wheel chair has main wheels and additional wheels entirely beneath the level of the seat cushion. To provide the user with alternative seat adjustments during forward movement of the chair, and to permit movement to and from the chair, a chassis (5), hand wheel (8) with transmission (9) to the main wheels (6), and a rotatable and releasable seat unit (1) are provided. |
