PURPOSE:To simplify the condition discrimination processing including the range comparison, by discriminating whether a value to be compared exists within a certain range or not, which is set to a register by one comparing operation instruction. CONSTITUTION:A comparison instruction is decoded by a microprogram controller 2. A lower limit value B of comparison is set to a register R1, and a value A to be compared is set to a register R2. Values B and A are compared with each other to discriminate whether B<A is true or not in an operating device 5. A register having a number R1+1 is formed by an adder 3. An upper limit value C of comparison is set to the register R1+1. Values A and C are compared with each other to discriminAte A<C is true or not in the operating device 5. The operation result of B<A<C is outputted as a conditional code to the external. |
