PURPOSE:To rigidly hold a stator coil by hitting a tapered wedge split in thicknesswise direction between a stator coil disposed on the outer periphery of an insulated inner cylinder and a magnetic shield formed on the outer periphery of the stator coil. CONSTITUTION:A stator coil 13 which is made of an upper port 13a and a lower port 13b is disposed through an interlayer insulating plate 15 on the outer periphery of an insulating inner cylinder 12 made, for example, of epoxy regin glass fiber material to surround via an interval the outer periphery of a rotor 5, and an insulating retainer 14 split in a plurality in a circumferential direction is contacted with the outer periphery of the stator coil 13. The coil 13 is fixed by axially hitting a wedge 17 which is made of an insulating material split in thicknesswise direction and formed in tapered shape on a pair of both bonded surfaces between the inner periphery of the magnetic shield 11 formed in a cylindrical shape integral, for example, with laminated silicon steel plates and the outer periphery of the retainer 14. |
