PURPOSE:To prevent excessive revolutions of an engine by furnishing a closed loop angle reduction circuit, which reduces the closed loop angle of an ignition coil in the current application period for the ignition coil in accordance with increase of the revolutions of the internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:If the period for applying current to an ignition coil 4 is so controlled as to be shortened with rising number of revolutions of the engine in order to lower the ignition voltage, it approaches the requisite ignition voltage necessary to put a spark in the ignition plug to sink then below the requisite voltage, and at last the number of revolutions of the engine lowers to give misfires. If the number of revolutions of the engine further lowers, the closed loop angle becomes large to cause exceeding the requisite voltage for ignition plug, and the engine is ignited and its number of revolutions rises. The engine attains a balance at a certain number of revolutions thus by repeating ignitions and misfires finely by means of change of ignition voltage, and excessive revolutions is now prevented. Accordingly the speedometer to indicate number of revolutions of the engine on the basis of this signal provides correct indication of the number of revolutions in the same manner as usual times. |
