PURPOSE:To facilitate the winding of a stator in a motor by deforming a tooth between slots simultaneously upon punching a core and increasing the width of the opening of a slot. CONSTITUTION:When a core of a stator core 1 is punched, the part to become the openings 4 of teeth 3 of slots 2 are simultaneously bent in a thicknesswise direction, thereby forming the width of the openings 4 larger than the normal side. After the prescribed number of the core plates are laminated, a coil is inserted into the slots 2 from the openings 4, the bent part is then returned to the original position so that the width of the openings 4 is returned to the original size, thereby eliminating the adverse influence of the leakage reactance to the characteristics. |
