PURPOSE:Not to produce long cutting scrap and to heighten accuracy in a cutting work, by cutting the long cutting scrap into pieces by providing at least more than one cutout to a part to be cut, when a cylinder, especially the one for VTR, is worked. CONSTITUTION:Cutouts 1A, 2A and 3A are provided to the parts to be cut 1, 2 and 3, respectively. With such an arrangement, cutting scraps are cut at each cutout 1A, 2A and 3A, so that long cutting scraps are not be produced when these parts are worked by a cutting tool. A worked surface is prevented from being hurt by cuttings, since they can be washed out by cutting oil. In addition, the cutting scraps never twist round the cutting tool, so that working conditions can be improved, and accuracy in working can be heightened. |
