PURPOSE:To increase contact of a gel negative electrode and a positive electrode and discharge duration of a battery by placing a paper washer to prevent movement of the gel negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:A gel negative electrode 5 is put into a separator 4, and a paper washer 13 is inserted so as to bring into contact with the upper surface of the gel negative electrode, then a current collector 7 is inserted through a hole 14 into the gel negative electrode. At that time, since the upper surface of the gel electrode is blocked with the paper washer, the paper washer does not move upward unless the pressure increases to some value. Therefore, the gel electrode is pressed in a lateral direction, contact between a positive mix 2 and the separator 4, and contact between the separator 4 and the gel electrode 5 are improved. |
