PURPOSE:To execute easily a adjustment of color against shift from a set color tone due to time aging of a color electrophotographing method, and a reproduction and adjustment of a picture color for reproducing a desired color, by varying the charge potential of a photosensitive body and the exposure quantity in cooperation with each other. CONSTITUTION:In a relation (gamma characteristic) curve between original density OD of one color and copy picture density ID, gamma characteristic curve 2, 3 in case when a toner adhering quantity is varied by +20% and -20% are adjusted so that they are returned to characteristics shown by a set gamma characteristic curve 1, and in this case, an output of a charging electric power supply of each separate color control is interlocked with an aperture of an exposure optical system, and a variation quantity of the photosensitive charge potential and the exposure quantity is set so that the development starting original density becomes an almost equal value of each color set in advance, by which it is possible to easily reproduce a picture color or adjust to a desired color even in case when an adhering quantity of each color toner is varied with time aging. |
