PURPOSE:To stabilize the quality of products and to prevent the decrease in the pressurizing effect of a top die punch by providing heat insulating plates and heat insulating dies respectively fixably and slidably to the top and side surfaces of the master die of dies. CONSTITUTION:Heat insulating plates 16a, 16b consisting of heat insulating materials such as ceramics are placed and fixed on the top surface of a master die 11 formed of dies 11a, 11b. Also, heat insulating dies 15a, 15b which consists of similar heat insulating materials and face the outer side part of the die 11 are provided circumferentially to the side parts of the die 11 freely vertically slidably. A top die punch 12 for pressurizing and a bottom die punch 13 for knockout are disposed in the die 11. If the die 11 is covered with the plates 16 and the dies 15 during charging of molten metal and until the start of pressurizing, the solidification of the molten metal 14 can be retarded and the time until the start of pressurizing is taken long, thus the work is made easy. Further, if the dies 15 are slided gradually upward according to the start of the pressurizing, the cooling on the punch 13 side is expedited; therefore the molten metal 14 solidifies from the counter pressurized side so that the final solidified part 14' can be concentrated on the pressurized side. |
