The support table, especially for a television set, has a base (3) made of two pairs of legs joined to each other. Each leg (11) of each pair of legs fits together with the two legs of the other pair. The legs are identical and vertical and their cross-section is rectangular. On the upper, bent over portion of the legs is mounted a table top (4) for the set.
