PURPOSE:To eccentrically bend a long-sized body halfway with high precision by providing a mechanism which allows a die to move back slantingly upward when a punch is pressed forth after the blank material is upset in holes of the punch and die. CONSTITUTION:When a blank material 9 is upset in holes 1a and 2a of a punch 1 and a die 2 and the punch 1 is pressed forth, the die 2 is pressed back by the blank material 9 and at the same time, a pressing body 7 united with the punch 1 moves up a wedgelike splitting member 8 along a cam surface 18 to press up the blank material 9. The read end part of the die 2, on the other hand, slides upward while moving back by a component of force that the slanting surface 20 of a strap 11 is in abutment on the front end cam surface 5 of a die base 4, thereby moving up while smoothly moving back to a splitting member 8 through a synergistic effect with pressing-up force. Consequently, the opposing state of the hole 2a of the die 2 corresponding to the hole 1a of the punch 1 is not maintained during rising and the blank material 9 held by being clamped in both holes 1a and 2a is bent in an S shape between the die and die punch. |
