<p>The circuit breaker is intended for protection of electric equipmen t against faulty current and has a current trip, and current converter, and an additional transformer (14) which is designed to transmit the current or voltage required for actuation of the trip (20). In the transformer secondary circuit is incorporated at least one storage capacitor (22), whose charge current path incorporates a rectifier circuit (24), the capacitor being dischargeable via the trip. The rectifier circuit contains a voltage multiplier.</p> |
