PURPOSE:To remove a molded powder body by supporting the same at two points and to prevent the breakage of said body in the stage of compression molding of powder with lower punch consisting of a stationary punch and a floating punch and a die by providing a supporting pin penetrating through the floating punch. CONSTITUTION:In the packed state (a) of powder, a floating punch 3 and a supporting pin 12 are lifted up to a prescribed height by a sleeve 13, and forms cavities with a die 1 and a stationary punch 2. It is necessary that the top end surfaces of the punch 3 and the pin 12 are kept flush through the time from packing of the powder until compression molding (b) and therefore, arrangement is so made that the ascending limit and descending limit of the pin 12 can be set as desired by means of a stroke regulator for nuts 14, 15. At the end time (b) of the compression molding, the green compact is removed in the state (c) wherein it is kept supported by the punch 2, the supporting pin stopped at the descending limit and the punch 3. |
