PURPOSE: An ultra violet -curing anti static hard coating composition comprising a specified amount of a reaction-type monomeric quarternary ammonium salt is provided which has excellent anti static performance as well as surface characteristics such as wear resistance, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, and durability. CONSTITUTION: In an ultra violet -curing anti static hard coating composition containing an acrylate multifunctional oligomer, an acrylate multifunctional monomer, a reactive monomer, a dilution solvent, an antistatic agent, and conventional additives, the antistatic agent comprises from 8 to 10 % by weight of monomer of a reaction-type quarternary ammonium salt of formula I. The composition does not show a drop in physical properties and transparency because it consists of only nearly pure organic substances without conductive metal oxide fillers and has high productivity because it radiation-cures even by a small energy of 500 mJ/cm¬2 and at a short radiation time of from 2 to 3 sec. |
