The electrode comprises an external nucleating layer made of a semiconductive material exhibiting, in the vicinity of its free surface, a plurality of nucleating centres consisting of metal atoms which are insoluble during the dissolution reactions responsible for the deletion and which have a low diffusivity in the said semiconductive substance.
