<p>A roller mounted for universal angular movement relatively to its nominal longitudinal axis of rotation so as to be angularly displaced by the weight and movement of the conveyor belt when the conveyor belt shifts away from running true. This angular displacement brings the rotating roller into engagement with reaction faces provided on the frame of the conveyor and causes the roller to be reactively displaced in a direction to restore the belt to running true.</p> |
