PURPOSE:To guide a rotatable body such as a can of an electrically conductive material along a guide surface by stators of a linear motor arranged along a guide surface. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable body 4 such as an aluminum can is made of an electrically conductive material, and acts as a movable element of a linear motor. A stators 6 arranged under a guide surface 5 for the rotatable body 4 have windings 7-1-7-i respectively, and when an alternative current is passed in to these windings, a magnetic field migratory in the direction shown at an arrow C is induced to move the rotatable body 4 in a diretion shown at an arrow E. In the present arrangement, since there is no mechanical parts, the maintenance is easy. |
