The present invention relates to a terminal for generating a schedule and a method for the same, providing a more convenient electronic calendar/diary by simplifying a user input. The present invention is implemented to generate schedule information only with the user input dragging and dropping an icon inside a schedule icon list to a data area within a calendar image by suggesting the schedule icon list. In addition, the present invention includes an embodiment for more effectively proposing the schedule icon list. The terminal includes: a display unit displaying a user interface including time display areas, wherein continuous time is divided into sections, and one or more schedule buttons; an input unit receiving the user input including selection, drag, or drop for the user interface that the display unit displays; and a control unit generating schedule information corresponding to the schedule button selected for the any section when the user input selecting a portion of the schedule button through the input unit and doing drag and drop on any section of the time display region is received. |
