PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which can reduce a memory capacity without decelerating of a speed, by a method wherein it is constituted such that a letter pattern information of a proceeding printing column rather than that of a current printing column under printing operation is written in two image buffers between a driving part of a printing head and a CG. CONSTITUTION:In order to alternately read information, corresponding to a letter code and being under address, and another pattern information under one bit of a memory region 22, two image buffers 24 and 25 are mounted. While one column at a time is being edited through reading of letter information in a CG20', the image buffers 24 and 25 are alternately read, and this perform an adjustment so as to facilitate a rapid reading to a printing head drive circuit 21 and causes the information to be temporarily stored in the image buffers 24 and 25. A writing to the image buffers 24 and 25 is conducted in advance on letter information of a column which proceeds by a full column than a current column under printing. |
