PURPOSE:To make logic simple, to make memory capacity min. and to shorten a processing time, by providing a fundamental pattern magnifying means based on the bit information outputted by a data converting means, and a correction position magnifying means for magnifying the correction position searched by a correction position searching means on the basis of indicated magnification. CONSTITUTION:The image data of a fundamental pattern is converted to bit data by a data converting part 2 to be supplied to a fundamental pattern magnifying part 3 and a correction position searching part 4. In the fundamental pattern magnifying part 3, simple integer-time magnification is performed on the basis of the bit data from the data converting part 2 and the correction position searching part 4 searches a correction position on the basis of the bit data from the data converting part 2. When two dots to be corrected are determined, the formation of a correction pattern is performed by a correction position magnifying part 5 and the segment connecting two bits is drawn and the inside thereof is painted out. Next, a synthetic part 6 forms bit data wherein the correction pattern is synthesized with a character pattern subjected to simple integer-time magnification and sends the same to a printing part 8 through a printing control part 7. |
