The invention relates to the feeding of pressure-sensitive, cylindrical workpieces, e.g. ceramic or sintered bodies, in particular to centreless external cylindrical grinding machines for through-feed grinding. The aim is to feed the workpieces in a careful and productive manner while dispensing with expensive and complicated control and regulation devices. The conveying operation is also to be possible in a closed system. The solution consists in the arrangement of openings in a conveying tube in the area of the accumulation space for a minimum and maximum workpiece line which is formed with a vibratory conveyor and downstream injector conveyor.
