PURPOSE:To continuously perform automatic selection and reduction of abrasives after finishing abrasive work, by elevatably providing an annular trough with a selector in the vicinity of the peripheral part of an abrasive tank. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical fixed tank 14, adaptable to the outer edge part of a rotary tank 7, is elevatably suspended above the rotary tank 7. An abrasive tank is constituted by the rotary tank 7 and the fixed tank 14, and an freely liftable annular trough 19 is provided in the vicinity of the peripheral part of the abrasive tank, then a selector, constituted by a selecting net 22 and a guide trough 23 feeding back screened abrasives into the tank, is further provided to a part of said trough 19. If a motor 10 is started to rotate the tank 7, a mass is pressed upward to an internal peripheral wall of the tank 14 by centrifugal force, and then dropped down and subjected to abrasive work. After finishing the abrasive work, the motor 10 is operated at low speed to rotate the tank 7, and the mass is discharged by centrifugal force onto the trough 19 through a guide plate 13, then the trough 19 is lifted. |
