PURPOSE:An ink jet recording ink with excellent quick-drying property, roundness and contrast after applied to paper, forming no bubbles and prevent- ing penetration of any bubbles into a pressure chamber, which comprises an ink of a specified pH contg. an oxygen absorber. CONSTITUTION:An inkjet recording ink of pH 10-14 at 20 deg.C contg. 0.5wt% or less oxygen absorber. Said ink is pref. composed of 10wt% or less water-sol, dye, 0.001-15wt% strongly basic material, 5-45wt% at least one wetting agent selected from an aliph, polyhydric alcohol, alkyl ether deriv. and acetate deriv. thereof, 0.5wt% or less oxygen absorber and the flance of water. Sodium sulfite, potassium hydrogensulfite, a phenolic substance such as pyrogallol, etc. are pref. as the oxygen absorber. |
