摘要 PURPOSE:To reliably facilitate gripping action in such a way that a pinion for a gripper which provides a pair of tool gripping clicks is intalled to be allowed for infinitesimal play in the axial direction of movable racks and even after gripping action of one tool has been completed, the other tool is kept on making gripping action. CONSTITUTION:A pinion 28 is turned through a universal coupling 32, and movable clicks 16a, 16b are slid by means of movable racks 22a, 22b which are commonly engaged with pinion 28 in order to grip a tool. Thus, the pinion 28 is allowed to make infinitesimal play in the axial direction of the movable racks, and even if gripping of one tool has been completed, it does not lead to yield the situation of restricting revolution of the pinion 28, but it moves the gripping clicks by means of infinitesimal turn of pinion, and gripping of the other tool can be reliably performed.
