Primer and use thereof

The primer consists of a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent mixed with a chlorinated paraffin, a polymer of an ester of acrylic acid and/or a vinyl copolymer as additive(s). The primer is suitable for treating a polyolefin-containing foam material for the purpose of obtaining effective adhesion of a polyvinyl cover on said material.
