PURPOSE:To improve the filtering characteristics, by providing a post for cutoff in a filter housing. CONSTITUTION:In a housing 1, a feeding rod 2, resonators 5A, 5B, and screws 6A, 6B for resonance frequency adjustment are provided. A cutoff post 8 is provided at a symmetrical position from the center of a broad side 1a of the housing 1 at the middle of the resonators 5A, 5B and the both ends are fixed to the side 1a. Thus, the cutoff frequency of a transmission line of a waveguide mode of a filter housng is increased and the filtering characteristics can be improved by providing the post 8, without changing the space ratio of the filter housing to the resonators. |
