Remote control automobile headlight position adjustment device - has cam and cage system converting rectilinear into orthogonal motion and uses modular construction

The device has rectilinear movement converted directly into an orthogonal movement via a cam-cage system. The rectilinear movement is obtained via a manual control or via an electrical control which may be associated with a device for detecting the inclination of the chassis due to the carried load. Pref. the male cam is carried by a slider contained within a housing formed as two half shells. The female cam cage enclosing the male cam is carried by a piston moving in an orthogonal direction and coupled to the correction mechanism for the headlight positioning via elastic coupling elements. The device is designed for easy assembly and parts replacement.
