PURPOSE:To record a still picture with small-sized and simple circuit, by sampling every one point video element on one horizontal scanning line within one vertical scanning period of pickup operation of a pickup tube and converting the output into a digital signal and recording it. CONSTITUTION:Every one point video element is sampled on one horizontal scanning line within one vertical scanning period of the pickup operation of a pickup tube 3, and this sampling is repeated over a plurality of vertical scanning periods. Further, these sampling video outputs are converted into digital signals to record one screen with a microprocessor 13. For example, an objective 1 illuminated with a projector 2 is picked up at the pickup tube 3 into a video signal, which is sample- held 7 according to the pulse SHP from a sampling pulse generating circuit 6. It is AD-converted 8 and applied to a CPU13 to perform the said recording to a memory device 9. |
