<p>The agricultural mower comprises a chassis with cutting tools and a discharge zone for the cut crop as it travels over the field. It has an endless conveyor belt (4) extending sideways in relation to the travel direction, and movably mounted on the chassis between two end positions. In one of these positions, the end of the belt is adjacent to the discharge zone, and in the other it is clear of it. The belt can be arranged to slew on the chassis about an axis near its discharge end, being supported on a horizontal slide. The design allows discharge of the swath (5) directly to the rear, or to one side (6), so that two swaths cut in succession can be combined for easier subsequent handling.</p> |
