PURPOSE:The titled curing agent with easily controllable curing time, comprising potassium hydrogen carbonate and a water-soluble alkaline earth metal salt. CONSTITUTION:Alkali metal hydrogen carbonates consisting of about 20-80wt% potassium hydrogen carbonate and the balance of, e.g., sodium hydrogen carbonate are mixed with a water-soluble alkaline earth metal salt (e.g., magnesium chloride or sulfate) in a wt. ratio of about 4:1-2:1, to obtain a curing agent for a water glass-based soil stabilizer (primarily composed of an alkali metal silicate). In use, 1pt.wt. aqueous soln. contg. about 5-15wt% said curing agent is mixed with 1pt.wt. aqueous soln. contg. about 30-70wt% soil stabilizer, and the resulting mixture is injected into soil. |
