PURPOSE:To detect a less distortion signal while widening the range by miniaturizing a vibration system by interposing signal detection coils at an interval between magnetic pole pieces projecting from both magnetic poles of a moving magnet. CONSTITUTION:At the rear end part of cantilever 12 fitted atop with stylus chip 11, moving magnet 13 magnetized in the thickwise direction and having magnetic pieces 13a and 13b projecting from both its magnetic poles is fitted and between those magnetic pieces 13a and 13b, signal detection coils 15 and 17 cross-linking to a magnetic flux between the magnetic pole pieces according to vibrations of magnet 13 are interposed at an interval. Consequently, since neither signal detection coil 15 not 16 stays at the side of record surface 10, a sufficient clearance is provided between the pickup cartridge and record surface 10, so that the vibration system can be miniaturized by shortening cantilever 12. |
