PURPOSE:To imprint marks of different lengths by allowing plural light emission elements to emit light selectively to a film which is not moving, in a retrieval mark imprinting device for the microfilm. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting diodes 51, 52 disposed by being segmented with partition plates 44 in opposition to a film 1 in standstill are allowed to emit light selectively, so that retrieval marks 3, 3' of different lengths are imprinted in correspondence to film frames 2. As compared to a device of regulating mark lengths by allowing light emitting elements to emit light for a fixed time and changing the time thereof, there is no need for controlling of film speed and light emission time, and the marks free from uneven photographing are formed. |
