PURPOSE:To make it possible to mount and remove plural plugs from the same side so that the light emitted from one optical fiber is emitted to the other optical fiber, by providing a deflecting material in the plug fitting material provided for fitting plural optical fibers in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Plugs 2a and 2b mounted optical fibers 1a and 1b have light transmission materials 7a and 7b, and their refractive indexes are reduced in proportion to the square of distances from optical axes La and Lb. Plug fittig material 10 has grooves 11a and 11b for fitting plugs 2a and 2b in parallel and has prism 12. Plugs 2a and 2b are fixed to plug fitting material 10 through cap nuts 4a and 4b. The light incident from one optical fiber 1a is collimated by light transmission material 7a and is emitted the other optical fiber 1b through prism 12. As a result, plural plugs are mounted from the same side. |
