PURPOSE:To reduce picture blur and variance in the vertical direction when the reproduced signal is seen on the receiver, by limiting tracks which are reproduced by the head mounted on the piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:The signal reproduced by two heads 19A and 19B is amplified by amplifier 20 and is detected by detector 20 and has only search frequency components separated by band-pass filter 22 and is subjected to detection and polarity decision by synchronizing detector 22 and passes through smoothing circuit 24, and the error signal smoothed in this manner, the search signal of oscillator 26, and the output of waveform generator 26 are added and are supplied from driving circuit 17 to piezoelectric element 18 to oscillate magnetic heads 19A and 19B.
