PURPOSE:To increase the degree of measuring accuracy in a gas analysis by introducing different kind of gases which have been uniformly mixed into the measuring optical path region. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a gas cell body 5 for the gas analysis is partitioned into gas chambers 5a and 5b by means of a circulation resisting member 6 which is a flat plate of glass or the like on whose whole surface a plurality of small holes 6a are uniformly bored. A gas piping 7 is connected to the gas chamber 5a, and a gas piping 8 for exhaust is connected to the gas chambers 5a and 5b. After unnecessary gases have been discharged out of the gas chambers 5a and 5b, change-over cocks 9 and 11 are operated to fill the gas chamber 5b with a low-pressure gas through gas pipings 7a and 7. Then, with the gas chambers 5a and 5b, and the gas chamber 5b and the gas piping 8 for exhaust disconnected from each other, a high- pressure gas to be mixed is introduced into the gas chamber 5a through the gas pipings 7b and 7. Thereby, because the circulation resisting member 6 is provided so that the gas chamber 5a is smaller than the gas chamber 5b, the low- and high- pressure gases are uniformly mixed and introduced into an infrared light path 10 region, so that measuring errors resulting from uniformless mixing of gases are eliminated. |
