<p>PURPOSE:To realize the low power consumption and a high-speed operation of an I<2>L memory, by flowing a faint current usually to a signal line and then flowing a large current simultaneously to both the above-mentioned signal line and another signal line during the selection respectively by the combination between two types of power sources and current Miller. CONSTITUTION:The memory holding current is decided by the first deciding current Miller 3 and then decided to a faint value by the resistance R1 and the power source Vcc1. Then the power source Vcc2 is turned on during the reading or writing to actuate the second and third current deciding current Millers 4 and 5. As a result, the currend flowing through the resistance R2 of the Miller 4 is added to the transistor TRT11 of the Miller 1, and thus the current large enough can be flowed to both the record holding word selection line W and writing word selection line R/ W.
